Ildikó Bellér-Hann and Chris Hann present their new book, The Great Dispossession. Uyghurs
between Civilizations. The book focusses on the Uyghurs oasis of Qumul in Xinjiang
to recount the story of community and modernization but also of state violence and exclusion.
