China has become one of the most important – and also challenging – international partners of Europe and its individual countries. Palacky University Olomouc has coordinated a large-scale public opinion survey research in 13 European countries on the representative sample to find out details about how the European public perceives China, Chinese people, and what policies it prefers. The workshop offers the first platform for the members of a broader international team to meet, share their work in progress, and discuss findings and future research avenues.
